Ex. 22:22 You shall not abuse any resident alien, for you were aliens yourselves. (26) If you takes your neighbor’s cloak, you shall restore it before the sun goes down. It may be your neighbor’s only clothing. (27) If your nieghbor cries out to me, I will listen, for I am compassionate.
Thess 1: For the Word of the Lord has sounded forth from you.
Mt. 22: You shall love the LOrd, your God, with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment, and the second is like it, You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments are based the law and prophets.
All who work at St. Helena’s Outreach Ministries seek to embody the love of God first and through that love, love of neighbors as ourselves. Jesus Christ is the Source of Love and Service. We recognize our oneness and solidarity with you our neighbors. We hope to be a welcoming presence that reaches out.
